Army crawl
This video was taken about 3 weeks ago. Elijah at 7 months old doing the army crawl. When he gets really motivated to a toy, he can go pretty fast. Now he gets up on hands and knees and rocks back and forth -- crawling is coming too soon! Watch out mom!
Catching up on pictures
These were all taken about a month ago - but we have a lot of catching up to do with our lack of posts lately. We have been out of town (more on that to come). Enjoy the pics!

Elijah fell asleep in his carseat like this. Usually his head falls to one side of the carseat, but this time it fell forward. Doesn't look too comfortable to me!

Just thought this was cute..he looks like a giant in this one.

About to wash some clothes and Elijah jumped in!

Having fun on the soft clothes

New Foods and New Moves
Elijah continues to try new foods each week - this week it was yogurt, rice cakes and toast. In this top picture you can see the rice cakes all over his face - they get gummy and sticky when they've been slobbered all over by a baby. And yogurt is one of his new favorites. Toast - kinda bland and boring for him.

Caught him going for the remote basket. He has that face like "What, mom?" He's exploring new territories and getting into more things daily.

Practicing his crawling with a rolled up towel (not super effective - but it helps him learn to get his tummy off the floor).
More updates coming soon!
