Reading books video

This video is kind of long (about 3 1/2 minutes) but it's clips from a few different videos I took a few weeks ago of Elijah bringing me books, reading them and then putting them in a basket when he's all done. To help you decipher what he's saying (I know not all of you are fluent in Elijah-niese yet) I put captions for you. One of my favorite things he does is when he leaves a room, he holds up one finger and says in this cute, inquisitive voice "Be right back" and waits for you to say okay. It doesn't exactly capture all that he says when he reads books, but it's a taste. 

PS. Is there still anyone out there reading these? I know we haven't been very consistent but I want to make sure there's still an audience! Even if it's just gramma and nana. 

Man, Woman & Little Boy

Elijah has been interested in learning the difference between a man, woman, little boy and little girl. Surprisingly most of the time he gets it right...I still don't know what it is that helps him distinguish between a man and a woman (maybe it's the length of hair, presence or absence of facial hair). I don't know. Here's a video of us practicing who's who in our lives.

I'm trying to upload another video from a few weeks ago, but it's almost 4 minutes long (spliced from a few different clips put together) so it's a big file. I may have to cut it into 2 separate videos, but hopefully that will be up soon.
