Pictures!

Just some catch up pictures from the last week or two.

Elijah "make colors". He's very good at organizing the colors (and actually coloring with them on occasion too!)



Elijah wearing Horton the elephant around in the Baby Bjorn (anything to get him used to the idea that there's a baby coming!) We pretend to put diapers on Horton, put Horton "night night" when he's tired, share our milk with Horton...and Horton's even used the potty!

Typical situation: the other kids are engaged in a video while Elijah wanders around entertaining himself with random things. He's quite unique, this kid.


So cute in daddy's hat. And you get a view of the mess/storage corners of our house....every nook and corner is used for storage!

Dancing videos

I dont know where Elijah picked up these sweet dance moves, but youve got to see them.

And we call this his worship face. I guess he sees us listening to praise music and worshipping God, and hes learned this is what youre supposed to do. He closes his eyes, but notice he has one eye peeking open to still see whats going on...classic Bruce!

Today's portraits

I decided I'd post pictures taken today of each of us as a way to make an announcement at the end.....


Elijah had a 'disaster zone' dinner tonight with potato soup and beans when he decided to wash his hair with his food. This was a first (and we hope a last) in our household! We'll just say it was bath night for sure.


Bruce was mid-shave because he realized a moustache and goatee are just too hot for the summer!


And Morgan is pregnant and showing! She's 'popped' so they say in the last few weeks and finally putting on some weight. She's 19 weeks along, and due December 31st....Happy New Year's baby!! We found out the sex of the baby today, but we'll wait until we've told all our family before we post it here. Stay tuned for ultrasound pictures and video.....

Rock on!

I just love these pictures we took a few days ago. I think we asked Elijah what a dog does and he made this face, but he was in a silly mood so he took it a step farther. Would have been a great moment to capture on video of him rock-out panting like a dog. Priceless.




And the purple Disney sunglasses just make it all the more priceless. When he puts them on, it's like automatic silly-Elijah comes out.

Couscous!

Johns parents are here visiting and we asked Mounia to make couscous for our guests. She made a huge plate of it for all of us and it was SO SO GOOD!

New Activites

Elijah has found some enjoyment in a few new activities....stickers and coloring!

He found out it is fun to stick them like tatoos all over your arms, face and shirt. We have a foam thing that he can stick them on over and over again so they are reusable.

With Mounia, who watches Elijah while we are at class - They LOVE to play together and Elijah asks for her all the time!

Shosh sent Elijahs favorite sunglasses to us and he loves to wear these PURPLE DISNEY sunglasses all the time, even at breakfast with a yogurt and muffin:

Beach Trip

We went to a nearby beach and let Elijah enjoy the sights...he hated it! He hardly wanted to get down on the sand and he cried if we got near the water. This was his first trip to the ocean, so maybe it will get better with time.
