Ifrane

We went to the north a few weeks ago to a lovely city called Ifrane. We all stayed in this great big house and enjoyed the slightly chilly weather in the evenings and the perfectly sunny weather in the days. Elijah and his buddy Kenza played outside all the time - the stairs were a favorite, and now that hes mastered them by himself it makes it all the better.

Elijah do it.

Our family

We took a trip to see the wild monkeys...I couldnt believe how close they let you get! We fed them peanuts and then they ran up this tree. It was a mommy, an older kid and a baby monkey.

Near the monkeys was a tree that they claim is one of the oldest (or the oldest) in Morocco. But the tree is dead! We were so suprised that theres all that marketing for a dead tree...a fire and some tree disease got it. :(

And of course we had a dance party every night for the kids, you know...to wind them down for bed.

The many sleeps of Elijah

Every night I sneak in to see Elijah and how he's sleeping that night. Sometimes he's just so cute that I have to grab the camera and take his picture! Here's a few recent pics over the last couple months. He really doesn't move around too much while he sleeps, which is good because there's nothing blocking him from the tile floor 2 feet below! If you notice, he sleeps with a lot of animals, and tells them all night-night. I especially like the one where he fell asleep with the dragon on his hand.

Ultrasound Video

Last month we had our full ultrasound and Bruce recorded parts of it. We thought our parents might be interested in seeing a sneak peek of the baby before he makes his appearance. Well I already gave it away.....IT'S A BOY! Very clearly a boy (don't worry, we don't show that part on the video). We are so excited for baby boy #2, and can't wait for his arrival (but then again we are enjoying just having one for now!). Unfortunately the baby was hiding his face and head in my cervix, so we weren't able to see his face or profile, which is the best part of the 4D ultrasound. Maybe my doctor will redo the ultrasound on Friday for my next appointment!

It's about a 2 minute video, which I had to compress to get it to fit on Blogger: Enjoy!
