Elijah is on a major mobility spurt these past 2 weeks - it's all he wants to do is try to crawl, walk along the furniture, sit down, stand up, repeat. He has progressed from just being able to sit up and/or stand up by himself to a mobile monster!!! We can no longer leave him in the room for 30 seconds while we run to the other room or we come back and he's in to some sort of trouble. We've had some interesting times which I'll try to highlight in a trip around the living room in one play session:
Sitting to standing by getting on the knees first
Standing and cruising along the coffee table
Bending to pick up toys (and not falling on his face!)
Reaching to get from one surface to another
Moving from one object to another
And a bonus picture! One of the first nights that Elijah learned to stand up on his own in the crib, he woke up around 10pm screaming. Somehow he pulled himself up in his crib while he was sleeping and woke up and didn't know how he got there (or how to get down!!) Now a week later after much practice he can stand up and sit down so we no longer have this problem and we once again have peaceful nights.

Oh my gosh, that is hilarious. He stood up IN HIS SLEEP??!? And it freaked him out! Poor guy! That is too funny.
