Big Changes

Something big happened in the Teague household...Elijah started sleeping in a twin bed. It happened one night where were were reading books on the twin bed and mom said "time for bed, turn out the light" and Elijah turned out the light then plopped down on the bed. He went right to sleep without a hitch....for a little over a week. Must have gotten uncomfortable sleeping in a pack 'n play for over 6 months. Then we had guests stay with us!! He heard all the people having fun just right outside his door and he realized it's no longer fun to stay on the bed and go to sleep. This is what we found: (yes, we convieniently -- for Elijah -- have a window in all our doors right at his height). At first it was cute, then we had to start laying down the law. It's so hard for him because he wants so badly to sleep on the bed and he knows he gets in trouble if he gets off the bed, but most nights temptation gets the best of him, and he's back in the pack 'n play.

Another big change (silly, I know)...but we just had some friends from the US come to visit us and brought all of Elijah's next size clothes that we had left spread out between Texas and Boston. So now he has some cute (daddy-look-alike) clothes to sport! Here he is looking JUST LIKE Bruce playing with our good friend's kid who is here visiting!

Here's Elijah playing blocks on the balcony off his room. Only once has he thrown a block over (don't worry, it was foam) and a nice man waited for Bruce to run down and get it back.

And here's just a bonus funny picture -- Elijah wanted to wear my headband all around one afternoon, and of course Mom obliged. Isn't it so cute (don't tell Dad!!) (This must reveal my secret desire to have a girl to dress up one day, but probably not any day soon)
