Apartment hunting

We took the train (again! Elijah's favorite) to a city in the north to find our new apartment! We are moving there in mid-April and went major apartment hunting. We found a few that we liked, but decided on one that has plenty of room for our growing family. It was an exhausting trip with 2 kids -- we were gone apartment hunting every day from around 10 am and didn't get home until around 9pm every evening. Elijah did most of his naps in the stroller or in the ERGO carrier (we love this product, by the way!). And Jonas spent all day in the Baby Bjorn. We'll just say that even though he's only 14 pounds (maybe more by now) it gets really heavy and sore on your back to carry that weight for 10 hours a day! We are happy to be done with this big searching trip and are now excited about decorating our new place. We have to buy all the furniture -- since we've been living in a furnished place the last year.
Here's Elijah with his rain jacket and backpack waiting to get off the train.
He packed and carried his own backpack, what a big boy!
You wouldn't believe what an exciting place the train is for 2 year old boys! After a long time, we finally got him to settle down enough to take a *sweaty* nap on mom. It wasn't too hot outside, but the train was **HOT** that day!
Can I tell you how excited I am to have Crystal living here?! (She often likes to match me and wear the same colors as me).
And Jonas is growing into quite the chunkster...getting the thigh rolls and everything. LOVE IT! He's outgrown lots of clothes already. He's smiling all the time and is such a joy. His gassy issues are getting much better and it's not quite so bothersome for him. He's developing his own eating & sleeping schedule which has been good for us.
